Designship’s Interaction Design apprenticeship program prepares a new generation of innovators and leaders in the field to address open-ended, real-life design projects.
Apprentices demonstrate their ability to plan, produce, and share innovative content and services in an effective way. This immersive experience allows apprentices to learn the organizations’ norms and processes to identify where their efforts can have impact and contribute new knowledge to a particular audience.
Interaction design apprentices are given the challenge of researching relevant ideas, problem-solving, and creating design solutions in response to a variety of projects. Apprentices initially learn to work collaboratively with others, and go on to lead teams in the creation of digital products that are useable, uncomplicated, and human-centered.
Mentors guide the apprentice through processes with particular emphasis on the quality of the work required to create and lead successful interactive experiences. This program gives the interaction designers the tools to successfully navigate and lead user experience projects in today’s ever-changing business environment.
Apprentices contribute to client projects and deliverables, join meetings, and experience client presentations and design consultations. Throughout the program, apprentices meet regularly with mentors to identify and make progress on personalized learning goals.
